Baptiste Episode Four

What an episode!!

I have so many questions, where do I begin?

First of all, I can't believe Kim Vogel was killed straight after she confessed that she was transgender. Her throat was slit in broad daylight, and she was left to die whilst clutching at her neck in the middle of the street. I hope Episode Five reveals who her masked killer was.

Also, can you believe the cheek of Stratton? Baptiste unearths a surveillance system in the basement of a males house, and almost gets attacked (again, in another basement) until he tells the man that as long as he destroys all evidence of the CCTV system, he would not inform the police about the system. Baptiste is grateful as the male had rigged a camera in the bathroom of the petrol station, where the money had been stolen, and captures the male who had stolen the million euros.

The male who stole the money is located in a strip club, completely unaware that the money belongs to the Romanians, who Baptiste describes as "a very dangerous group of people". He returns the money straight away.

Stratton meets with a detective who tells him that he needs to be wired up to a microphone and meet with Constantin in order to get a confession. When Constantin grabs Stratton and forces his head onto a table whilst applying a large amount of pressure and hurling abuse at Edward, for some bizarre reason, Stratton grabs a beer mat and writes "Europol are listening". Constantin tells him to call him, and swiftly leaves.

Once Edward is informed by Baptiste that he has the money and that they will meet up with Constantin to give the million euros back - he immediately appears relieved and extremely appreciative. However, once Stratton has completed a mighty climb along the roof of a building and down a fire escape in order to avoid the police guarding his hotel, he appears to have set up a trap. A car pulls in front of Baptiste who is driving, and stops. Julien gets out to see if the driver is ok, and Edward climbs into the front seat and quickly reverses back, does a complete 180 and drives off, with the money in the boot.

Julien is left standing in the street, completely bewildered as to why Stratton would have treated him this way.

The fifth episode of Baptiste airs on Sunday 17th March at 9pm on BBC One.

I didn't see that coming when Kim Vogel got killed! I wonder who the masked killer is going to be?
