Episode 4 was by far THE MOST tense episode of the series!!
I feel slightly concerned at the possibility that H could actually be Ted Hastings, but with two more episodes to go, I hope this fear subsides!
There is absolutely no way I am going to be able to review this episode chronologically, I have to begin at the end (sorry).
sMy theory is that Lisa McQueen and Ted Hastings are working together. There is absolutely no way that an intellectual, highly educated individual such as Hastings would be unable to spell 'definitely' (spelt definately) in the episode. When Ted takes over the communication with Lisa where AC-12 are acting as H, he states '“I need you to bring all this to a close'. I believe that the misspelling of definitely is an indicator to Lisa that it is Ted communicating with her. Shortly before this, Ted learnt that Corbett was responsible for the attack on Ted's wife, which could be indicative of the way Lisa acted when Corbett's throat was slit and he bled to death. As soon as she walks down the corridor and is out of sight she begins to sob, covering her mouth in order to mask the sounds. This could show that she is working on orders from someone else, who could possibly be Ted.

Episode Four concludes with a dying John Corbett bleeding to death on the floor, with Lisa McQueen towering over him, when she says "you're a rat John". A quick jump shot later, and we see Corbett's wife putting their two daughters to bed and saying "mummy loves you, daddy loves you", when at that exact moment, John's throat has been slashed and he is frantically grasping at his throat to stop the bleeding.
When Lisa visits Terry who lives opposite the printing shop that was raided in the previous episode, he states that he doesn't remember anything, when an infuriated Lisa begins to storm out of his flat. He quickly adds "that's why I take photos". She immediately recognises Steve Arnott as one of the Police who completed the raid and says: “they’ve been onto us since well before we put Hargreaves on the Eastfield job. We never told Hargreaves about the print shop, the leak came from somewhere else. We’ve got a rat.” John is the main suspect for the leak, hence the final words she muttered to him as he lay dying.
In the episode, we see Ted visit Lee Banks. "Sit down, fella. This bastard’s got a thing or two to say to you. Trust me – you’ll be glad you did". We don't learn anything of what they discuss, and it quickly jumps to Ted leaving and sitting in the back of a car, escorted away from the prison. We aren't shown him discussing the chat with Arnott or Fleming either.

We learn more of Corbett' real background in episode four. AC-12 finally accessed his flat, and managed to retrieve his DNA and fingerprints. John was adopted at 10 in 1989 by the Corbett family. His adoptive mother’s maiden name was McGillis. He was born in Belfast, his father was Anthony Patrick McGillis, who died in 1984; his mother, Anne-Marie McGillis, died in 1989 “hence Corbett’s move to Liverpool, and the adoption.”
Also, where did Ted get so much money from!?

When Arnott meets with Corbett, Ted tells Arnott through a wire that "The order is Fahrenheit. Repeat, the order is Fahrenheit". He seems pretty intent on Arnott shooting Corbett, even though Fleming said that they would lose information if he died. Minutes before he learnt that Corbett was the one who attacked Roisin Hastings days before. Corbett tells Arnott the details of the meeting with H, and says "Be careful who you tell – if it gets out, you’ve got a leak.”. We later see Ted forcing Arnott to provide him with the information, where Arnott finally complies. Funnily enough, H never turned up to the meeting. Arnott infuriated Ted more with “With respect, sir, I dispute the lawfulness of your order.”
Episode Five airs Sunday 28th April at 9pm on BBC One.
